Prolific Ghanaian striker Benjamin Acheampong has landed a loan move from Zamalek to Egyptian Premier League side Tala’a El-Geish.
He joined Africa giants Zamalek in a big money move from El Dakhleya Sporting Club at the start of the Egyptian Premier League last season.
However, the 27-year-old struggled to churn out regular playing time before he was shipped out on loan to Petrojet in the second half of the season.
The former Asante Kotoko attacker will pull off his best after becoming the club’s latest major signing after deals for Ahmed Gaafar, Ahmed Samy, Islam Serry, and Mohamed Aboul-Magd.
Acheampong was part of the Kotoko squad that won the league in 2012 under Maxwell Konadu.
