St. Peter Senior High School (PERSCO) have emerged winners of the 2018 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ) held at the National theatre.
St. Peter’s SHS on Thursday outwitted their competitors to become three (3)-time Champions of the competition after 12 years of drought.
They beat Adisadel College (ADISCO) and West African Senior High School (WASS) to take the trophy following a very tight score line in the competition.
Though it was three schools in the grand finale, the competition was later between St. Peter’s SHS and WASS after they both gave a good performance in the last round of the NSMQ scoring 45 points and 44 point s respectively.
The dreams of the students of Adisadel College, after going to finals for four consecutive times, were shattered at the 4th round after their lead was taken by WASS who finally lost to St. Peter’s SHS.
Congratulations to all the schools that participated in this year’s NSMQ.
