The Super Eagles of Nigeria felt complacent during the last minutes to full time of the game, losingconcentration in their defense and paving way for Argentina Defender Marcos Rojo kick inside the net giving the Argentine side a lead in the game.
The game which ended 2-1 in favour of Argentina has seen them qualify to the next stage while Nigeria will be on their way home.
Argentina will face France on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
Nigeria becomes the forth African country to be knocked out from the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
