Ghana Black Star defender, John Boye has completed his transfer to French Ligue 2 side FC Metz after opting not to renew his contract with Turkish team, Sivasspor.
The 31-year old defender, sealed a two-year deal with a further one-year option with the team on Thursday.
This comes barely 48 hours after the centre-back player left the Turkish side.
Speaking to Ghanasoccernet.com, John Boye said “I have decided to sign for Metz in France as they have good plans that every player wants to be associated with”.
The transfer will see John Boye re-united with Metz manager Frederic Antonetti who coached him at Rennes between 2009 and 2013 before he moved to Turkey.
