Egypt and Saudi Arabia have joined Morocco as the nations are eliminated from the on-going FIFA World Cup in Russia.
Uruguay's lone goal victory over the Arabian Green Falcon confirmed the South Americans and hosts Russia as the qualifiers to the Round of 16 from Group A.
Though Egypt was defeated 1-3 by Russia on Tuesday, a win for Saudi Arabia would have given them some hope of qualifying.
But Luiz Suarez’s first half strike was enough to let them out of the game.
The final Group A games will be played on Monday, June 25, with Russia facing Uruguay in the Groups stage table toppers and Egypt facing Saudi Arabia in a match for pride.
