The Eid-ul-fltr (Feast of Breaking) is a very important religious festival celebrated by Muslims worldwide to mark the end of Ramadan.
On Friday, in an Instagram post, the Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia sent his good wishes to all Muslims in the country.
He inspired Muslims to be guided by the same values of sharing and caring, praying for the prosperity of the nation as they celebrate Eid-ul-fitr.
“All praise be to Allah, the most high, the most merciful. l congratulate my fellow Muslims in Ghana on the successful completion of this year’s fasting”, Vice President said.
He also joined the Northern Regional Chief lmam, Shaykh Abdul-Salam and the Muslim community to observe the festival at the Jubilee Park, Tamale.
