Jeffrey Otoo, a 19-year-old footballer is described as a strong and quick young player. He is naturally left footed with powerful shooting ability. He is a Ghanaian forward who plays for Charleston Battery of the United Soccer League (USL) on loan from Atlanta United FC.
Otoo was signed as a free transfer from his home team, Charity Stars FC located in Accra Ghana, to Atlanta United becoming the third signing in the history of Atlanta United. He succeeded in scoring 13 goals in 21 games while playing division 2 for Charity Stars FC.
Otoo spent the 2016 season on loan with USL affiliate, Charleston Battery where he appeared in four games; entering as a substitute and logged 89 minutes.
Prior to signing the contract, the President of Atlanta United, Mr. Darren Eales flew to Ghana to watch the exploits of Otoo and convinced himself of his huge potential and did not hesitate to offer the youngster the opportunity to play for his club.
Otoo is an energetic and ambitious soccer maestro who has developed a mature and responsible approach to any task that he undertakes.
