Work has commenced feverishly on an I.T. Centre at the Ghana Institute of Journalism. This is an initiative of the president of the Students Representative Council of the Institute, H.E. Martin Thompson Ntem and his team after assuming office in less than 100 days.
The need for a well-equipped I.T center became very expedient as the disciplines of Journalism and Public Relations diversified broadly and students had to make a lot of research in order to do project works and other academic related stuffs.
Over the years, students have had to resort to their personal mobile handsets and laptops among other electronic devices to make researches and do project works. However, the provision of this all-important Information Technology Centre will be a very great relief for the students as it will aid their academic work and improve upon the quality of their stories and projects.
