Jeffrey Adu-Gyamfi Jnr. is a proud alumnus of the Ghana Institute of Journalism (GIJ) where he specialized in Public Relations. He was born on 1st September, 1991 at Obuasi in the Ashanti Region.

He had his basic education at St. Augustine Educational Complex in Obuasi and moved to Prempeh College for his senior high school education, where he studied General Arts and played the role as an Organizer for the Writers and Debaters Club.

While in GIJ, he took up some leadership roles which included representing his class at General Assemble Meetings and also a Defendant General (student lawyer) in the Student’s Representative Council (SRC).

Jeffrey aspired to become the External Affairs Commissioner during the SRC elections but lost to his opponent Sebastian Awaya in 2015. He said he was shocked at the results but the experience has helped him improve his strategy on how to win elections.

Jeffrey, in his school days was popularly known as ‘Nyame ne Hene’ meaning God is king  which doubles up as his favorite quote.  He loves to watch football at his leisure time.

For Jeffrey, his stay at GIJ was exciting, adventurous and most of all very impacting. His favorite moments were during SRC week celebrations and trips and his greatest challenge was accommodation which seems to a problem to every student.

He is currently doing his National Service at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital. He aspires to be one of the best Public Relations Officer where he can share his knowledge and ideas to improve the corporate world and other fields and urged continuing students to concentrate on their books and do more internship to enhance their knowledge.
