Baobao Foundation opens a community Library

A Non-Governmental Organization known as Baobao Foundation, which has its roots in Colorado in the United State of America opens a community library at Awoshie- A- Lang in the Ga Municipality, Accra.
The library was opened on June 30, 2017. It began with a prayer from Uncle Lerg of the Gabrieno Prayer Ministry, followed by a poetry by one Miss Abena Banda. The cultural troupe sang some Ghanaian songs to entertain the guests, who came to grace the occasion.
Actress Martha Ankomah and Honorable Ismailia Yussif, the Assembly man for the area graced the occasion. Speaking to the students, Actress Martha Ankomah expressed her joy in the opening of the library and told the students for be privileged to have such facilities. She also told them to make good use of the facilities.
Mrs. Karen Adjei Amankwah gave her speech also expressed her joy for the library becoming a success. She said “I have waited for this day for a long time and thanks to some key people who help voluntarily ,it has become a success”.in an interview with some of the students ,they were happy to get books to help do their homework and read during leisure. While some were pleased about the whole initiative.
Miss Aitana Kampert, one of the members of the NGO also shred her experience as amazing and such a joy to witness her first time program of this nature.
The students were refreshed and entertained after the program.
