She is young, beautiful and brilliant. Naa Ashorkor Doku was introduced to television at the age of 17. Known to acting, she is also a presenter, an entrepreneur and a legal practitioner. You cannot escape her voice and sight with programmes such as Tales from the powder room (Gh One TV), The Zone (Star FM), and Just the Law (Viasat 1).

Inspired by her three sisters, members of her church as well as her colleagues, Naa Ashorkor blends these inspirations in her programmes.

Her television and radio programs include, “The zone” which airs from 10am to 2pm on Starr Fm. This programme’s purpose is to help listeners relive themselves of stress while creating an enabling environment for office workers to discuss issues during lunch time.Office related problems are read out, discussed and possible solutions provided.

“Tales from the powder room”, an open girl talk show is a programme that airs on Gh One every Wednesdays at 9pm where relationship issues are basically discussed and advice given. Naa and her guests encourage listeners to get interactive by sending their problems or solutions as contributions to the program. Issues on relationship is a craved for topic which listeners would always want to view or listen to.On Sundays 8pm to 9pm, those who have legal problems should tune to Viasat 1 as the young legal practitioner discusses legal matters with her guests. She also provides possible legal solutions and advice to listeners and viewers.

One may wonder how she manages her time well.Speaking in an interview with GIJ Online News, she explained she manage her time effectively even as a married and a career woman. she makes sure she does everything right to keep both her marriage and job secured. “I advise all GIJ students to  be themselves, and not wish to be like others but rather pick up the good achievements and work towards it. Plan for your future while in school and save 40% of your money for upkeep every day” she concluded.
