Joyce Owusu, a student of the Ghana institute of journalism is said to be the image behind the provision of accessories for beauty pageants in Ghana. She provides accessories for pageantry such as Miss Maliaka and Miss Ghana.
In an interview with Joyce, she said, “I have always had the passion for beauty pageantry since it is a platform to showcase talents, knowledge, diverse culture and beauty.”
Joyce added that, this is one reason why she decided to help in accessorizing beauty pageants. To Joyce, her talent is “her first love” and this has kept her going and succeeding in her career.
Joyce stated, “what really makes me unique from others is the fact that, I didn’t have any formal training in the making of accessories but rather I found out I was good at it, and this is what I call talent.
According to her, her accessories are meant for all persons with fashion of all ages, sexes, and occasions and is affordable.
Her advice to the youth is that, entrepreneurship, especially is the order of the day especially in this era where unemployment is not just a national phenomenon but a global one.
It starts by discovering oneself and their potentials and working at it to earn their living. “It doesn’t matter for it to be in the informal sector just work at it “Joyce said.
