The Ghana Institute of Journalism's new online news website is going through some phases of branding to enhance the quality and appeal of news stories. This initiative is by students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism on internship on campus.
Speaking to one of the supervisors of the Gijonlinenews.com portal, Mr. Charles Nii Ayiku Ayiku, he stated that the branding will be on T-shirts, banners,stickers and souvenirs as well to publicise the new website nationwide through events and many more.
Most students expressed their delight about the branding strategy. A level 300 Journalism student of the institute, Morrisette Koranteng, has volunteered to carry out the branding of the T-shirt.
