Bankroller of New Edubiase football club Abdul Salam Yakubu says that the clubs return to the Nana Gyamfi Park will have positive impact on the club.
The Bekwai based club last played at their favourite Gyamfi's park two seasons ago after it was declared ineligible to host standard league matches and therefore needed facelift by the inspection team of the Ghana Football Association. the team has been playing their home matches at the obuasi lane clay sport stadfium since then.
Speaking to class fm on thursday, mr Yakubu says their return to the home grounds can help turn around fortunes of the club "" that's a good news for us. that will help us survive in the premier league. the supporters are waiting for the club to watch their first match over two years now, so its a very good news. at the end, atleast we will get some money to support the team''''
New Edubiase currently lying bottom of the premier league table with 12 points from a possible 45 points.
