New hearts of Oak coach Sergio Tragui says he is not intimidated with his new job. There have been suggestions that the Portuguese will find it difficult in handling a big club like Hearts. Over the last decades hearts have seen lot of expatriate coaches who have found it difficult to win laurels for the club and face some form of intimidation. Speaking to some section the media in Accra, Sergio insist the Phobian club will not be too big for him
“Intimidating? It’s not intimidating, am used to it. It’s not the first time I am with a premier league club, it’s not the first time am with a senior team but like you said, I came to the youth system, I came to build a very strong youth system. Very strong project but I am a Hearts of Oak worker, so they asked me to do this task, to lead the team because they are having a very tough moment.
I know it’s not easy, I understand all supporters because I am also a supporter, so I understand what is going on.
I can promise the team that I feel I can improve the club. I can promise hard work. I will give my life for the club. I can’t promise that I will win titles, I can promise that I will win the league or the champion’s league because am just arriving at the club now so give me some time”
Hearts will start their second half of the league campaign in the Ghana Premier league against Dewu side Dreams fc and Sergio will be hoping to start off in a good note.
