Chief Dele Momodu, a Nigerian Politician and a business tycoon has reproached citizens of Ghana for their frequent abuse of President John Dramani Mahama, the President of the Republic of Ghana.

Speaking with Kwaku Sekyi Addo, the host of Starr FM’s ‘The Lounge”, the business tycoon and politician disclosed that, Ghana’s Democracy is the envy of the rest of Africa. Chief Dele stressed that Ghanaians appear unappreciative despite the performance and efforts of their leaders.

According to him, he has had the privilege to explore other countries so he can appreciate the progress Ghana has made so far and over the years. He further said that one thing he liked about Ghana is our Democracy. “Your democracy is wonderful”, he says. “You abuse your president anyhow".

On the same show, he made mention of the circulating rumor that he had a special affection for President Mahama. He dismissed this claim with the fact that he has always spoken about the progress in Ghana since Former President Rawlings’ time and did same during President Kuffour’s tenure of office. He said, “This time people are more sensitive so the least thing they say you support Mahama.”

He advised Ghanaians to encourage President Mahama to do better. In his opinion he was a businessman and that he knew what it takes to build but it’s easy to destroy.

Present on this show, were the Chief Executive Officer of Data Bank, Kwadwo Addai Mensah and Poetra Asantewaa, a spoken word artiste and an entrepreneur. Individually, they also shared their thoughts on the Democracy of Africa.
